Susanne grew up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University. She completed a Post-Professional Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2015.

In her 25 years of clinical practice she has worked in Toronto, Sydney Australia, and Vancouver prior to returning to Nova Scotia with her family in 2022. Susanne has spent her entire career in private practice and has extensive experience working in the Insurance Industry in both Canada and Australia.
